WM Group's Prospective or Current LEED®-Certified Green Buildings

WM Group has expertise in helping new and existing facilities successfully achieve LEED® green building certification. More than 20 percent of our staff are LEED Accredited Professionals who have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to guide clients through the LEED certification process.

Building professionals may earn LEED professional accreditation through the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough knowledge of green building practices and principles and the LEED rating system, and they're qualified to guide buildings through the LEED certification process.

What is LEED?
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating SystemTM is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and launched in 1998, the LEED program outlines standards for environmentally sustainable construction in five key areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. Through these standards, LEED aims to promote global adoption of an integrated, whole-building approach to sustainable green building and development.

Both new construction and existing buildings may apply for LEED certification, granted to qualifying projects at four different levels: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Specific rating systems exist for several different categories of commercial and institutional buildings, including LEED for New Construction, LEED for Existing Buildings, LEED for Commercial Interiors and more.
